My wise advisors (from the USA, Jamaica, Romania, Holland, and Gambia) gave me a lot of great advice about the mission support team, newsletter, engagement, spiritual covering, etc. In the past months, I realized I mostly shared the good things but not my struggles with you through my life and ministry. I have been facing daily struggles in Gambia. I will do my best to ask you for your prayers about my struggles in life and ministry.   I am reminding myself and you that we all are humans that face struggles. God is using you to be a team with me to do His work because prayers are powerful. This month, I learned a challenging lesson to humble myself and share my failures/struggles. INCREASING OUTREACHES Educating Deaf Girls Hearing volunteers from a "Prospect For Girls" organization that educates girls about feminine health care used an interpreter to present about proper hygiene and personal care at the local deaf school. I learned of this event and went myself, along with two people from the deaf church. After their presentation, I introduced myself and passed out free homemade hygiene items that I collected from Samaritana. After leaving the classroom, other students ran up to me and gave me a hug. After seeing how well the children responded to me, the school supervisor asked me to return to help counsel the deaf students about sexual abuse. Because the language barrier limits what help they can offer, the supervisor understood the importance of this counseling coming from a deaf individual.
