Returned to Jamaica Safely - Thank You!

Greeting from Seattle!

Hello, Everyone!

I wanted to share an update from my previous newsletter. Good news, we made our flight and have arrived safely in Jamaica!  We are overwhelmed by God’s unconditional love through you. Thank you for your support in help us get back to Jamaica. I have seen how God has moved through you to work together for His good! God is so faithful!

Scripture

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.”

Romans 8:28

I wanted to clarify and reply to some of your responses about suggesting home tests, as for Jamaica's policy, we are required to have an actual printout or electronic results by a certified doctor or medical facility. Some of you were surprised in how we struggled to find a covid test site that was free, we were too. We learned there were differences between reasons for taking a covid test. If we were exposed, there would not be a charge. Since it was not due to exposure, but for traveling purposes, there was a charge. It was a challenge searching for a testing site we could visit that had some availability before our flight.

But God made a way for us! While Veledise was searching and trying to fix her iPad that had some random issues, she saw an unexpected message pop up with a location of a government funded testing site. Her first instinct was that the Holy Spirit was trying to show her something. Quickly obeying, she took quick action and screen-snapped as much information she could before the websites crashed. She then rebooted her iPad and was able to contact the testing site to check and see if they had some tests we could take. Praise the Lord, we made it!

Again, thank you so much for willing to partner with God to make this happen! Please continue to pray for us. We are now preparing to train my staff and teach them about DeafBlind culture, Support Service Provider, and Protactile. We start training Tuesday!

Family and friends, in my next newsletter, I will share the amazing testimonies of what God has done while visiting Seattle.

Blessings in Christ
