New Chapter in Tennessee
Greetings from Tennessee!
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Wow, 2023 is already here! First of all, I received many prayer messages about my precious nephew, Khalil, and I would like to thank you for keeping Khalil on your prayer list. Khalil is still in the intensive care unit hospital. God's work is reaching through nurses and doctors to keep an eye on him with His wisdom. Khalil's health progress is still struggling with breathing due to a lack of oxygen. Maybe he will have another surgery if he continues not to breathe well. I know Khalil is in God's arms, and I trust the love of God takes care of and unabandon him. Again, please keep him in your prayer. Thank you. |

Thank you for all your support throughout my journey in 2022. All of your prayers and encouragement have truly touched my heart. Some of you even provided a place for me to stay and resources during my travels-thank you!
Looking back in 2022, I have pondered my various struggles which no doubt taught me many things. I thank God for this roller coaster ride, whether the circumstances were good or bad. I have seen many unpleasant moments that have shaped me for the better, and that has drawn me more closer to God than before. He has worked in and through me to build up my faith in Him. These storms have produced the endurance my spiritual maturity I desire. He helps me to see the joy during all storms and under challenging times. |

Currently, I am here in Brentwood, Tennessee, at a Deaf Theological school. Monday, January 9th, is my first day of school. Please pray that I do well through the semester that ends in June. I am so excited about this opportunity! Once school is over, I plan to go to Africa and do mission work. Of course, I will share more details with you in a few months. I will need your prayers for clear guidance, direction, and wisdom from God. Thank you!
I really appreciated your financial support, when I send out various newsletters requesting help after experiencing unforeseen hurdles. Thank you for your faithfulness! I can't imagine doing this without you! I will continue to post blessings and God's word, as well as praying for more disciple missionaries. There are only a handful of missionaries out there who can reach Deaf communities. We need more! Join me in praying for this need so we can reach more Deaf people worldwide, and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them! We are doing this for God's kingdom. So again, a big thank you for making all of this happen.
Starting in the new year, I will have a different budget goal compared to last year. I had unexpected opportunities to take several trips last year in 2022. Consequently, I am short on money. However, I have seen God's faithfulness in my journey. I see how God is opening doors to use me on yearly future trips. Going to Africa is an example of the trips I plan to take this year. I already broke down my budget, so please let me know if you want my budgeting approach. I have contacted some of my mission supporters about increasing my financial support directly. But also, I am asking if you would consider, for a season or longer, to financially support me monthly. This would be a huge help to me! Please consider praying about contributing monthly. If monthly isn’t an option at this time, any one-time gift amount is helpful!
I know some of you may be experiencing some hardships during this time of year around the holidays. Just remember that God sees you and is always with you. He is with you through joy and difficult times - take heart! May God bless you in the 2023 year ahead!
Much love,
Kevlasha |
